This one is a BEAUTY! Let me guide you through my recipe for creating a still life from real life. This started with a photo on my kitchen bench, and was created by adding layers of colour and detail. Join in and let's paint it together!

This is a classic combination... blue and white plates look good with most things though, don't you think? And the yellow of the lemon with the blue also makes me think of Ukraine, with every stroke of the brush a prayer for peace. This is a very classy painting, to work through slowly, and the results are so worth it.

These flowers on my mum's bench last October caught my eye because of their gorgeous colour and interesting shadow.
